"What inspires me in both filmmaking and acting is the feeling I get when I gaze upon the night sky. Witnessing the constellations tracing their timeless dance across the infinite canvas of space evokes a sense of eternity. It's like reading a divine manuscript written in starlight, a testament to the universe's enduring beauty and profound mystery. This spectacle, this silent epic, speaks to the core of my being, reminding me of the vastness of time and the enduring power of cosmic wonder. "

 Mariam Vardanyan

Mariam Vardanyan is an award winning actress and filmmaker. Her artistic journey began at the age of three on the legendary stage of the Vardan Adjemian National Drama Theatre in Gyumri, Armenia. Growing up on the stage, she quickly established a mastery over a wide range of diverse and demanding roles. Her extensive theatrical credits span from classical figures like "Corrado" by Giacomo Cavalli and nuanced Shakespearean performances as Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream, to complex dramatic leads such as the title role in Antigone by Albert Camus, which she performed in French. Transitioning her commanding stage presence to the screen, Mariam has delivered captivating performances across television and film. She has guest-starred on hit television series such as Will & Grace and Strong Medicine. Her cinematic acting credits include roles in Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage, the Oscar-challenge top-ten film Broken, and Chinaman's Chance: America's Other Struggle, where her background as an award-winning flamenco dancer was prominently showcased. To explore new ways of storytelling, Mariam expanded her work into filmmaking. After writing, directing, and starring in I’ll, she also co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in the feature film Shakkar.
